LRT & MRT Christmas Holiday 2013 Schedule of Trips

One of the Metro Manila’s most popular mode of transit, the Light Rail Transit (LRT) Lines 1 and 2, and the Metro Rail Transit (MRT) already released their schedule of last trips early on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.

LRT Authority spokesman Hernando Cabrera released the schedules of LRT and MRT’s trip on Monday, December 23, 2013. The confirmation was made through an official post on Cabrera’s Twitter account.

According to Hernando Cabrera, LRT 1 will have its last trips from Baclaran and Roosevelt at around 8:00 P.M. on December 24, 2013. For LRT 2, the last train from Santolan will leave 8:00 PM, while the last train from Recto will leave 8:30 PM. 

The schedules mentioned above from December 24 will be the same schedule for the last day of the year, December 31, 2013.

The LRTA also stated that it will maintain its normal service schedule during the holiday season, starting of LRTA operations is at 5:00 AM. During regular working days, the last commercial train for Line 1 leaves Baclaran at 9:30 p.m. and Roosevelt at 10 p.m.

The last commercial train for Line 2 leaves Santolan at 9:30 PM and Recto at 10:00 PM. On Saturdays and Sundays and holidays the last commercial train for Line 1 leaves Baclaran at 9:00 PM and Roosevelt at 9:30 PM.

The last commercial train for Line 2 leaves Santolan at 9:30 p.m. and Recto at 10 p.m.
