Chairman Francis Tolentino, the head of the Metro Manila Development Authority encouraged the Filipino public to support the upcoming 2013 Metro Manila Film Festival’s Parade of Stars.

The MMFF Parade of Stars 2013 will take this coming Sunday, December 22, 2013. The parade will start at the Esplanade of SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City and it will end at the Quirino Grandstand in the City of Manila.
The awarding ceremony for the Metro Manila Film Festival 2013 will be held this coming December 27. This year’s edition of the MMFF is the 39th anniversary of the Film Festival.
The MMFF-movie entries will start showing in various cinemas nationwide this coming December 25, 2013 until the first week of January 2014. During the duration of the festivals, no foreign films will be allowed to be shown in the country to showcase the Filipino-produced films.
Three of the most popular and traditional entries of the MMFF did not joined this year’s film festival namely; “Enteng Kabisote,” “Panday,” and “Shake, Rattle & Roll” series.
