The Miss Universe Organization have already announced the seven (7) preliminary judges for the 2013 MISS UNIVERSE® Competition that will be held on November 5, 2013 at around 10:00 PM (Moscow Time).
The Preliminary Competition of the Miss Universe will showcase the 86 official candidates as they compete in the Swimwear and Evening Wear Competition. The event will be available online through the official website of the Miss Universe 2013, with live coverage from Crocus City Hall in Moscow, Russia.
The Seven Preliminary Judges includes Alicica Quares, Corinne Nicolas, David Perozzi, Elena Semikina, David Perozzi, Elena Semikina, Gabriel Rivera-Barraza, Irina Agalarova and Jose Sariego.
Here are some of the brief descriptions of the Preliminary Judges:
Alicia Quarles is a world-renowned New York based correspondents for E! News. She joined E!News after her previous work with (–foul word(s) removed–)ociated Press as the Global Entertainment and Lifestyle Editor.
Corinne Nicolas is a New Yorker and veteran of the modeling industry with over 20 years’ experience. She was a former model manager for Trump Models before being name as President of the agency. She is instrumental with the supermodel phenomenon and in 2012, they opened Trump Legends, a division dedicated exclusively to iconinc women of enduring beauty and style.
David Perozzi is an award-winning journalist who worked with ABC News and NBC News, he has 20 years of media experience. David has produced for “World News Tonight” anchor Diane Sawyer, “Nightline” anchor Cynthia McFaden to name a few. He is a four-time Emmy nominated producer.
Elena Semikina is a Canadian actress and producer of Russian descent. She was a former Miss Universe 2010 Canda representative. Elena is the executive producer of the film, “Our Man in Tehran” a feature documentary that premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival.
Gabriel Rivera-Barraza is the founder and President of GRB Communications. He has an extensive background in marketing and public relations. He was the former vice president and director of public relations for CFDA/Vogue fashion fund. Gabriel has a track record of combining editorial press, celebrity dessing, promotion, and events in developing strong fashion identities for brands and non-profit organizations.
Irian Agalarova is a businesswoman in both Moscow and New York, wherein she finds the challenge of both cities stimulating and exciting.
Jose Sariego is the Senior Vice President of Business and Legal Affairs of Telemundo Media and based in Miami who reports to the CEO of Telemundo media, one of the official media partner of Miss Universe 2013.
Mr. Sariego joined Telemundo from HBO Latin America, where he served as the senior vice president, business and legal affairs. Prior to his work with HBO, he was also the senior vice president, and general councel of MasTec, Inc., an international telecommunications contractor.
