Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) Medical, Relief & Evangelical Mission Caused Traffic Jams

The medical, relief and evangelical mission in Manila conducted by the influential religious groups Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) caused traffic jams in major thoroughfares of Metro Manila.

During an interview with INC’s Minister of The Gospel Edwil Zabala, the October 14 activity, dubbed “Kabayan Ko, Kapatid,” is just one of the many missions conducted by the Iglesia Ni Cristo in various parts of the country.

According to the INC Official, the said initiative of is meant to reach the less fortunate people, regardless of their religious affiliation. He also clarified that there is no politics with their project. The INC also denied the allegations that today’s activities is a “show of force” to remind the government of its influence in Philippine politics.

The projects of the INC includes distribution of relief goods which were distributed to impoverished citizens while their members were also deployed to conduct evangelical missions. An estimated 2 million people are expected to grace the event in various parts of Metro Manila to avail free medical and dental services.

The INC activity prompted the suspension of cl(–foul word(s) removed–) in various parts of Metro Manila, although cl(–foul word(s) removed–) were suspended, INC clarified that they did not make request to suspend cl(–foul word(s) removed–) in view of today’s m(–foul word(s) removed–)ive event.

Zabala have already apologized to motorists who were affected by the m(–foul word(s) removed–)ive traffic triggered by the medical and evangelical missions. The MMDA have also identified alternate routes for motorists who will be affected by the INC event.
