Marian Rivera ended the speculations that she will be transferring to rival stations of GMA-7 after she signed a three-year contract with her mother studio and remained as a Kapuso artists. Marian is now on a fresh start as she is set to star in a new teleserye in his mother studio that she calls home.
On August 11, 2013, Sunday, a day before her 29th birthday, she formally entered into a 3-year exclusive contract with GMA at the Manila Polo Club in Forbes Park. Marian has opted to remained as a Kapuso actress.
According to Marian her signing of a new contract with GMA is a fresh start for her, remembering even her time when she first started her career with the Kapuso Network las 2007, groomed by the network as its next star, riding on the remake of the Mexican telenovela, “Marimar.”
Witnessing during the signing of Marian Rivera were Atty. Felipe Gozon, GMA president and CEO, GMA COO Jimmy Duavit, CFO Felipe Yalong, executives Redgie Acuna Magno, Lilybeth Rasonable, and Marivin Arayata, and Marian’s manager, Rams David.
Marian also revealed during her signing that there are offers for her to work for different stations, but she decided to stay, and there is no reason for her to leave the Kapuso Network. According to Marian, the support given to her by her mother studio has been tremendous.
The Kapuso actress was also quoted as saying that, “Wala naman akong ibang pupuntahan. Dito naman nagsimula ang lahat para sa akin.” (I have nowhere else to go. This is where it all began.) Marian stated.
