Kapamilya child star, Cha-Cha Canete will represent the Philippines in the upcoming World Championship of Performing Arts (WCOPA), to be held this coming July 12 until July 21, 2013.

The eight-year-old Cha-Cha has been selected to compete in the Junior Division of the 17th WCOPA, also known as Hollywood’s “Olympics” in the world of performing arts.
Cha-Cha is a current mainstay of ABS-CBN’s award-winning comedy program “Goin’ Bulilit” aside from her appearance in the Anak TV awardee program, “Biyaheng Bulilit” on Studio 23. Being a known TV personality did not hampered on her study as she is also a consistent honor student from Diliman Preparatory School.
The child wonder, Cha-Cha is currently in the 3rd grade on her school. In the world-renowned competition, she will be representing the Philippines as a solo vocalist in not just one but five different categories – namely the Broadway, Pop, Gospel/Inspirational, Open and Original categories. She will be the youngest contestant to represent the country in the competition.
