An island in Surigao del Norte, Siargao, a teardrop-shaped island was included in the list of best surf spot in the world based upon the list released by the travel website of Cable News Network (CNN).
The Cloud Nine in Siargao is included in CNN Travel’s “World’s 50 best surf spots,” even making it to Top 9 in world ranking. The list was compiled with the help of the editors of Surfing Magazine.
CNN Travel article writer, Jade Bremmer described Siargao as a “dramatic and powerful reef break” that offers “right and left death rides.”
