The highly-anticipated sequel of Iron Man featuring Robert Downey Jr., as Tony Stark, conquered the Philippines box office records as it broke the all-time Opening Day records in box office earnings.
According to Victor Cabrera, Managing Director of Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures Philippines, Iron Man 3 earned a total of P62-Million in just one day. The box officer earnings surp(–foul word(s) removed–)ed the P58-Million opening day record set by “Spider Man 3” last May 1, 2007.
The current output earnings of Iron Man have already surp(–foul word(s) removed–)ed and doubled the income of “Iron Man 2.” The income also beat, “Marvel’s The Avengers” records of P56 Million last year.
