The Filipino champion, Nonito “The Filipino Flash” Donaire and his opponent the Cuban fighter Guillermo Rigondeaux make weight ahead of their mega fight. The two-reigning world champion will be fighting at the Radio City Music Hall in New York tomorrow, April 14, 2013 (Philippine Time).
Nonito Donaire is the reigning WBO Junior Featherweight champion weighs 121.6 pounds, his opponent the two-time Olympic Gold medalist Rigondeaux weighs 121.5 pounds.
Rigondeaux is also the current WBA Super Bantamweight champion promised to give Donaire a run for his money. The winner will be the king of the 122 pound division in the sweet science of boxing.
Donaire was recently honored by the Boxing Writers (–foul word(s) removed–)ociation of America as Fighter of the Year 2012. Tomorrow’s match will start at around 10:15 AM (PST).
