Cellular Phones Celebrates 40 Years (Video Report)

The world’s most popular gadget, the Cellular Phones turns 40 years since the day it was introduced. In a video report posted by Bandila, the inventor of cellular phones, Martin Cooper recalls the early days of cellular phones.

Martin Cooper invented the first cellular phones which has 10 inches length and weighs more than 1 kilos with the battery weighed 4 to 5 times compared to the modern cell phone.

The first cell phone has only 20 minutes of talk time before requiring a 10-hour recharge according to Martin Cooper. The first working cellular phone was introduced to the media on April 3, 1973.
