Escudero Drops Standings in the March SWS Survey Results

One of the topnotchers in the previous Senatorial survey results, re-electionist Sen. Francis “Chiz” Escudero lost his previous second place in the latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey.

Sen. Escudero was previously ranks at the number 2 spot during the last survey few surveys both from the SWS and Pulse Asia. The Senator was replaced by another re-electionist Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano who rose to second place while Sen. Loren Legarda maintained it’s top spot.

The report of the latest senatorial survey results first appeared on BusinessWorld on March 26, 2013. The survey was done last March 15 & 17, 2013, a few days earlier before Chiz and Heart hogged the national headlines due to Ongpauco vs.  Escudero controversy.

Meanwhile San Juan Rep. Joseph Victor (JV) Ejercito is now at the third and fourth places compared to the last survey wherein he placed at the 9th and 10th place.

  • 1. Loren Legarda – 59% from 64%
  • 2. Alan Cayetano – 57% from 58%
  • 3 to 4. JV Ejercito – 48% from 42%
  • 3 to 4. Chiz Escudero – 48% from 62%
  • 5 to 7. Nancy Binay – 47% from 47%
  • 5 to 7. Cynthia Villar 47% from 53%
  • 5 to 7. Koko Pimentel – 47% from 48%
  • 8. Sonny Trillanes – 44% from 46%
  • 9. Gringo Honasan – 43% from 34%
  • 10. Bam Aquino – 42% from 42%
  • 11. Grace Poe – 40% from 48%
  • 12. Sonny Angara – 39% from 39%
