The parents of Kapuso actress Heart Evangelista have already expressed their strong objection to her relationship with senatorial candidate Chiz Escudero during an interview with ABS-CBN.
The parents of Heart Evangelista, Cecile and Rey Ongpauco were prominent business personalities in the country owning the Barrio Fiesta chain of restaurants. Heart Evangelista whose real name was Love Marie Ongpauco have finally admitted that she was indeed having a relationhip with Chiz Escudero.
The Ongpauco’s aired their sentiment on the current status of Heart and Chiz relationship, they also answered the statement made by Chiz last February that he intends to marry Heart Evangelista in 5 years time.
Heart’s parents detailed that they had felt “disrespected” by the lawmaker whom they accused of being “arrogant” and “alcoholic.” The Ongpauco’s also held a press conference to formally appeal to their daughter and Escudero to reconsider their relationship. They have enumerated the reasons why they opposed the relationship of Chiz and Heart.
