Pulse Asia Latest Survey Results Feb. 24, to Feb. 28, 2013

The Pulse Asia have already released the latest survey results ranging from January 13, 2013 up to February 13, 2013. Two newbies registered the highest gains in electoral support, namely Bam Aquino and Grace Poe.

According to Pulse Asia Survey, Benigno “Bam” Aquino recorded an 11.8 point change in the latest survey results, Bam was the former National Youth Commission (NYC) chairperson and a cousin of President Benigno Aquino III.

The Former MTRCB Chairman, Grace Poe, registered an 11.2-point gain. Senatorial candidates and re-electionist Loren Legarda, Francis Escudero and Alan Peter Cayetano still lead the senatorial race based upon the latest Pulse Asia Survey.

Legarda garnered  56.7 percent, followed by  Escudero who got 54.9 percent while Cayetano registered 52.8 percent. Occupying the fourth to 11th spot were former Las Piñas Rep. Cynthia Villar (44 percent), San Juan City Rep. JV Ejercito (43.8 percent),  Bam (43.2 percent), UNA deputy secretary general Nancy Binay (42.5 percent), former Poe (42.1 percent) and Sen. Aquilino Pimentel III (40.1 percent).

The senatorial candidates that can possibly make it to the Magic 12 were Sen. Gregorio Honasan (37.9 percent), Cagayan Rep. Jack Enrile (36.6 percent), Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV (36. 1 percent), Aurora Rep. Sonny Angara (35.1 percent), ex-Senators Juan Miguel Zubiri (33.2 percent) and Richard Gordon (32.2 percent).

The survey was conducted by Pulse Asia last Feb. 24 to Feb. 28 with 1, 800 respondents, with an error margin of plus and minus two percent at the confidence level of 95 percent.
