The Binibining Pilipinas organization have finally presented the list of 50 candidates for the 50th anniversary of the national beauty pageant. The candidates were chosen from 150 women who auditioned.
The Philippines most popular beauty pageant finals night will be held this coming April 14, 2013. The presentation of the final 50 candidates was made on Thursday, February 21 in Quezon City.
Aside from the Bb. Pilipinas Universe 2013 title, two other contestant will be vying for the title Bb. Pilipinas International and Bb. Pilipinas-Tourism Queen International at the coronation night.
Some of the most popular names included in the list are Maria Angelica de Leon, daughter of Christopher de Leon; Pia Wurtzbach, an ABS-CBN Star Magic Talent; Charmaine Elima, reigning Miss Mandaluyong; TV host Joanna Cindy Miranda; and Viva talent Imelda Schweighart.
