At the early age of 16-years she won the Bb. Pilipinas Beauty Pageant and represent the Philippines in the prestigious Miss Universe of 1967.
She has controversial love life, linked to Dolphy, married a Spanish and finally settled down with a Pastor last 2002. Pilar Pilapil is considered as one of the most beautiful Filipino ever graced the Showbiz industry.
