Veteran actress Pilar Pilapil was victimized by carjackers in a stabbing incident happened last Thursday night at around 9:30 PM. The 60 year old actress was with a companion named Rossel Rossalem when two suspected car thieves forcibly boarded their car at the vicinity of Marikina Riverbanks.
According to the report from the Antipolo Police Station, Pilapil had multiple stab wounds and left behind by the carjackers at Brgy. San Luis Antipolo City particularly in a gr(–foul word(s) removed–)y portion of Piedra Blanca Homes.
Police authorities were still doing a manhunt operation for the carjackers and the kidnapping of Pilapil’s companion who was taken together with the carjacked vehicle, a gold Kia car.
In an interview with GMA News, Police Officer 3 Rodel Druha of the Antipolo Police he said that, Pilapil still managed to ask for (–foul word(s) removed–)istance from the residents, despite being injured. The residents responded by rushed her to the Antipolo District Hospital.
The former Binibining Pilipinas-Universe in the year 1967 was now safe and in stable condition. She was still recuperating in an undisclosed Metro Manila Hospital after she was transfered from Antipolo District Hospital.
Pilar Pilapil have been famous for her character role in numerous films and telenovelas. A two-time best actress awardee. Before the incident she attended a press conference at Cercio restaurant in Tomas Morato, Quezon City for her stage play “The Vagina Monologues”.
