Paris Jackson revealed on Oprah’s Next Chapter interview which airs, Sunday on OWN as she opened up about her disguises of wearing a mask to evade reporters and paparazzi surrounding her.
The 14-year-old was confused over some period of her life wherein she was always on constant hiding from the public eye, but after she learned the intentions of her late father the King of Pop, Michael Jackson she understands it now.
In Oprah’s interview she says:
“I was really confused, ‘I didn’t get why I was wearing a mask. But I understand it now – why my dad would want our faces to be covered. When we went out without him we wouldn’t be recognized we had a normal childhood.”
Paris Jackson added further: “He told us that when he was younger he didn’t really have a childhood, He would always be stuck in the studio singing while the kids were out playing. He wanted us to have that.”
The teen star, Paris Jackson was filming her upcoming fantasy movie Lundon’s Bridge and the Three Keys.
Paris and her brothers Prince and Blanket went to a hand and footprint ceremony in his honour in Los Angeles.
