Philippine Azkals Draws Indonesia Final Score 2-2 Highlights

The Philippine Azkals managed to score a draw against Indonesia for the International Friendly match held at the Rizal Memorial Stadium. The game ended in a 2-2 draw after the Philippine’s most popular striker Phil Younghusband made an equalizer goal at around 84th minutes after trailing by one goal difference.

All goals were scored at the second half of the game with the Philippines’ duo of Phil and James Younghusband providing the much-needed points by the Philippine Azkals to score a one-point and probably maintained their current international standings at 148th.

The game between the Philippine Azkals and Indonesia ended with a heated commotion at around 78th minutes involving Chieffy Caligdong, Indonesian Bachdim and Manny Ott, all three players were given a red card and will not be allowed to play for the next succeeding international matches.

The Indonesian visitors were able to got a taste of the goal first with the effort of Patrick Wanggai at around 58th minute from a brilliant p(–foul word(s) removed–) made by Oktovianus Maniani for the leade but was answered by James Younghusband at around 59th minute.

The Indonesian was able to grabbed another goal with the counter attacked made by Irfan Bachdim but Phil Youngbusband answered the equalizer. The Philippines will then face Guam for the next international friendly match to be held in the football-crazy city of smile, Bacolod City this coming June 12.
