
A light plane crashed in a shanty at around 2:00 P.M. after take-off near F. Serrano Elementary School at Paranaque City, Philippines. The plane crash leaves at least 13 people dead and numbers of residents were wounded but unaccounted for.
The plane burst into flames after it crash landed at Paranaque and hit the school. The accident killed at least 13 people including 2 children. Luckily there no cl(–foul word(s) removed–) were made during the time of the crash which will surely put the lives of students in danger.
Ramon Guttierez of the Philippine Civil Aviation Authority stated that the plane is a six-to-eight-seat Beechcraft Queen Air plane. The pilot and the co-pilot were pronounced dead after their bodies were recovered from the damage plane.
The man in-charge of the plane made a distress call shortly after taking off. The plane is set to travel to Mindoro. The plane planned to return to the airport but the effort was not enough and it crash landed at an elementary school which is near to the over-populated shanties.
Police Senior Insp. Dennis Sirilan stated that the plane was twirling in mid-air before it crashes into the shanties. Firefighters rushed to the fire scene but because of the difficulty of reaching the area the fire had already scattered to nearby houses.
The accident happened at Better Living Subd., Brgy. Don Bosco, Paranaque City. The plane pilot was Cpt. Timothy Albo.
