Tropical Strom “Quiel” enters Philippine are of responsibility

Tropical storm “Pedring” is now out in the country but another storm is set to p(–foul word(s) removed–) in the country’s area of responsibility.

Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration release its latest update regarding the location of Tropical storm “Quiel”, as of 4 am it was spotted 770 kilometers east of Appari, Cagayan.

Storm signal were already raised in some areas of the country, including signal number 1 in Cagayan, Isabela and Babuyan Group of Islands. Residents living in the said areas are warned to take precautionary measure if the situation gets worst.

Tropical Storm “Quiel” is moving westward and carries a wind of 130 kilometers per hour with gustiness of up to 160 kph.

Weather Bureau also advices those people living in parts of Visayas and Mindanao to be ready of possible widespread rain fall brought by Tropical storm “Quiel” while other parts f the country will experience a scattered rainshowers.

Fishermans and boats to sail in the sea are alerted of strong waves due to the typhoon, those residents in low lying areas should watch out of landslide and flashflood.

Bagyong “Quiel” is expected to gather more strength as it enters the country and will bring rain showers over Visayas and Northern Luzon.
