Who do you think is the next?

Well, a clue begins with an “eruption.”

What an eruption for the “Philippine Volcanoes” as they landed second on the recently concluded 2011 Asian Men’s Rugby 7’s Championship held at the Likas Stadium in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah Malaysia.

The “volcanoes” was considered a rookie in the competition but they had immediately put the name of the Philippines in the “map” for the rugby game.

In the finals, volcanoes had faced the younger team from Japan which they finished as the second placer. Japan is considered to be one of the strongest team in Asia in the said competition and for them, to face against the mighty team from Japan who is the defending team was already beyond from their expectation.

As reported via starmometer.com, Philippine Volcanoes, the country’s rugby team, as they strive to fight going to the top had defeated Rugby team’s coming from Kazakhstan, United Arab Emirates, even the home team of Malaysia and the powerhouse team from China.

Philippine Volcanoes success in the Rugby competition this year would then be an instrument for them to play this March 2012 for the Olympic level in the world’s prominent Hongkong 7’s.

With the new honor that the team had brought to the country, it could not be denied that the Philippines had been a home for the best in the world.
