Barcelona was not able to depend its unblemished records of winning streak at Camp Nou. On their games yesterday against the visiting AC Milan from Italy, the Catalans were unable to secure a win for their first ever meeting in the 2011 UEFA Champions League. AC Milan managed to steal a draw at 2-2 having secured both goals in an impressive manner.
The first ever goal made by AC Milan was considered as the fastest goal ever recorded on this day of the competition. Brazilian youth team-member and AC Milan’s prized striker Pato scored the goal on the early stages of the game at around 23 seconds on the opening 23 seconds of the game.
The entire ball games were dominated by Barcelona having so many chances of scoring a goal but were all defended well by AC Milan’s defender and the gallant stand of goalkeeper Abbiati.
Pato and Thiago Silva scored for the Italian team in the first and the last minute around 90th minutes of the game and Pedro and David Villa scored for the Catalans.
