Many are now on the watch in the upcoming 2011 Video Music Awards as many stars are expected to come in the prestigious event.
Earlier reports said that a hot opening production performance will be given by one of the most idolize singer today, Lady Gaga as a big blast for the night. A performance from Lil Wayne and Adele will also be seen in the show.
But before that scene, the former Disney Princess Selena Gomez will brighten up the night as she host the pre-show black carpet.
It will start around 8 p.m. on August 28 and the singer-artist, Selena Gomez has been chosen as the celebrity host of the night. She will be joined by her correspondents, Sway Calloway, Jim Cantiello and James Montogomery.
The team is tasked to interview the celebrities arriving in the show and bring breaking news to those who are watching in the television.
In an interview with Selena, she expressed her happiness being part and host of the pre-show black carpet which she said one of the most exciting parts of the Video Music Awards.
A performance will be made by the Cobra Starship during the Pre-show. They will be showcasing their dance hit ‘You Make Me Feel”. Speaking on Behalf of the band, Ryland Blackinton said that they are very much excited to perform in the Pre show and added it is such an honor for them to perform in the stage of VMAs.
Two years ago, the Cobra Starship was nominated in Video Music Awards.
