Famous American novelist, Nicholas Sparks is expected to visit Manila this coming October according to a local bookstore who’s now finalizing it. Among the best novels that he wrote were “The Notebook”, “A Walk to Remember”, “The Last Song” and many more.
“Due to the large number of inquiries we have received, we would like to confirm that Powerbooks and National Book Store will be hosting Nicholas Sparks for a book-signing tour in October here in Manila,” Powerbooks said on its Facebook page.
The author also confirmed his visit this coming October 27 and 28, and the signing of his new book “The Best of Me” on his official Twitter account. He also added that he know a bit of “Tagalog” because of his aunt that is a Filipina.
“Aking tiyahin ay mula sa Maynila. Siya itinuro sa akin (sic),” Sparks said on his verified Twitter account. “I tried to say that my aunt is from Manila. She used to talk to me and taught me to say some stuff.”
Nicholas Sparks is also popular because of the adaptation of his books into movies like “A Walk to Remember”, “The Last Song”, “Dear John”, “The Notebook” and others. His new book will be released this coming September in all Powerbooks, National Bookstore and all Bestsellers branches.
