The home of Jordan family have been buried in muds and boulders in Brgy. Cabalawan, on the outskirts of Tacloban City. Landslides have struck due to incessant rains in Leyte which started early Wednesday at 8 P.M. that caused the soil to loosened and eventually landslides in Cabalawan.

The worst victim of the calamity that hit Brgy. Cabalawan, a mountain village 14 kilometers from the City of Tacloban was the Jordan Family. The family of 7 was confirmed dead after their bodies have been recovered at 6 A.M. Thursday.

The victims were identified as Marlon Jordan, 35; his wife Jenette, 36; and five children Mariette, 17; Angelina, 16; John Paul, 13; John Rey, 5; and John Harezh, 4.

The home of Jordan Family was first pushed by almost 10 meters before engulfing it. The tragedy happened on daybreak Thursday March 17, 2011.
