Tsunami was a Japanese word for tidal wave or series of water waves. The tsunami that hit Japan today March 11, 2011 was the worst ever in more than 150 years. The 8.9 magnitude earthquake that hit Japan and caused tsunami to follow through have put the Japanese mighty industrial country crying for help.
Japanese buildings have withstand the tremors but the waves that came from deep within the Pacific Ocean was no match to the structures put in place especially those that are in the seaside. The advanced technology of Japan in terms of structural engineering was not capable of handling the devastation brought about by the Tsunami.
After few minutes of devastation photos have been taken and uploaded it on the internet. Youtube was used also as a way of disseminating the information.
Of all the videos posted in Youtube, one that catches my attention was the video taken from an aerial shoots by NHK. It was the worst tsunami videos ever recorded.
