This will be the good news for all iPhone fans for the Apple device has now its substitute; not actually the real one, but the edible kind. What is it? It is the edible iPhone.
This edible iPhone is being sold in Tokushima, Japan and was actually made by the café ‘Green Gables’ owner, Kumido Kudo when her customer asked her to bake an one-off iPod cookie for a birthday; from then on, Kudo began replicating the iconic smartphone.
Masayoshi Son, a 44 year-old woman, one of the Japan’s leading entrepreneurs and the Softbank President also knew the cafés specialty when Kudo handed him the cookie in their meeting. Son was very pleased with the cookie version of the iPhone; he even commented “I’m so happy. I cannot possibly eat (the iPhone cookie) this” on his Twitter account.
Only 20 pieces of this iconic iPhone cookie are baked every day, and each is worth ¥2,730 ($33).
Kudo have also attempted to bake an iPad cookie but according to him, it turned out to be big, heavy, and difficult to make.”
Wanted to taste this iPhone cookie? Get lucky, and have one. But if you can’t, try to bake some of yours. 🙂
