Tweeting your blogs post right after you make an article is a cumbersome process. This is only good if you have only one post in one website. But what if you have two or three websites that you maintain and you write one to two articles per blog?
The time you are going to spend on each of your post could take a couple of minutes to finish. Not only that, what if you forgot to tweet your article? You will probably lose some visitors.
The Solution
After searching the internet on the solution on how to auto tweet blog posts I found Feedburner the answer to my question. I’ve been using twitterfeed.com before but now this service was discontinued. May be twitter.com stop twitterfeed from doing an auto update.
Now how can you configure Feedburner to auto tweet your post?
- Login to your FeedBurner account.
- Select the feed.
- Go to the Publicize tab.
- Go to the Socialize service.
- Click on Add a Twitter account button.
- Login to twitter using your username or email with p(–foul word(s) removed–)word, then click Allow button to authorize Feedburner.
- If you like you can change the formatting options and item selection settings.
- Click on Activate or Save button to start the auto-tweet function.
I’ve been using an app called AutoTweeterPro for some time. It’s actually a small and very easy to use software, which tweets from my computer. I am using unlimited trial version, which is as good as free. Hope you will find this tip useful. http://bit.ly/autotweeterPro1
