Kapamilya actor John Lloyd Cruz will be finally return to national TV as he is set to be seen again on “Maalaala Mo Kaya” for the June 27 episode of the show. Seven years since he last appeared with the longest-running drama anthology, the actor will reunite with former love team, Kaye Abad for the special MMK episode.
The girlfriend of John Lloyd Cruz, Angelica Panganiban even helped promote the actor’s “return engagement” on the show through her official social media account.
In the highly anticipated MMK episode of John Lloyd Cruz and Kaye Abad is also considered as a reunion for former “Tabing Ilog” star Kaye and John Lloyd. During the past few interviews, Kaye Abad has been vocal for a reunion project with the actor.
The 32-year-old John Lloyd Cruz already appeared in eight episodes of MMK, starting with Peanut Butter in 2000 but the last time he was featured in an MMK episode was way back the year 2008.
John Lloyd Cruz also won an acting award at the Empress Golden Screen Entertainment TV Awards in 2005 for the MMK episode “Skating Rink.”
