Following their popularity as Bisaya-speaking Americans, the group has recently returned to the Philippines.
The group composed of fluent Bisaya speakers Sumner, Connor, Jake, Tylan and Davis became popular in their YouTube channel “Hey Joe Show” while spending two years in the Philippines as humanitarian missionaries in Negros, Bohol and Cebu.
The members explained that one reason why they posted videos of them talking in Bisaya is to show the world how beautiful Philippine culture is.
In their recent video, the group enumerated different sings of being identified as a Filipino.
The group’s current visit to the country is for a series of fan conferences in malls in Cebu, Tgabilaran, Davao, Dumaguete, and Cagayan de Oro.
