“’Di ba, sabi ko nga, ayokong isipin na galit sila sa akin. Gusto ko na lang isipin na it’s a business decision that’s why they made those decision, because of business. And that’s the way I want to look at it. We spent six years in ABS-CBN and I gave a lot of credit to them that’s why I’m Derek Ramsay,” he said.

The 37-year-old actor also said that he is thankful for ABS-CBN for giving him a lot of projects when he was still a kapamilya star but there are some things that happened, which he does not want to divulge, that made him transfer to TV5.

Derek Ramsay’s contract with TV5 will end soon. When asked if he plans to transfer to other networks if in case he will be offered a contract, he said, “TV5 is my priority. I have to give them that respect because they have been good to me. More than good. If they said, ‘I don’t need your services anymore,’ then I’ll respect them.”
