The Philippine national basketball team once again proved their worth as one of the best underdog team in the World Basketball Championship although they were already defeated twice. Gilas Pilipinas fought hard and showed their true love of basketball by their losing effort against Croatia who were scared of Gilas during the fourth quarter of their overtime game on Saturday night.

The Greece National Basketball Team bannered by a total of three NBA veterans Nick Calathes, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Kostas Papanikolaou. The Greeks also features an average height of 6-foot-8, with three players standinga at 7-foot, namely Giannis Bourousis, Ian Vougioukas and Andreas Glyniadakis.

During the first game of the Greece national basketball team against Senegal, the 6-foot-9 power forward Kostas Kaimakoglou topscored for the team with 17 points and 8 rebounds.
