Former professional wrestler Dave Bautista (Batista) accepted the ice bucket challenge given to him by his co-star Chris Pratt in “Guardians of the Galaxy.” Now, he is also challenging the Filipino boxer, Nonito “The Filipino Flash” Donaire on the ice bucket challenge.
An ice bucket challenge is an activity involving dumping a bucket of ice water on one’s head or donating to the ALS Association in the United States. It is also called as ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. In fact, many known individuals have already accepted the said challenge. One particular individual was the world’s richest man, Bill Gates.
It has become a viral challenge in United Stated in the recent weeks. If the challenge was not accepted after 24 hours, the one who was been challenge will be giving donation to the ALS Foundation. They are heading the fight against Lou Gehrig’s.
President Obama was also challenged. However, he declined and just chose to donate on ALS.
From it was launched on July 29, 2014, the donations already reached $5.7 million and still counting.
Now, the challenge was given to a Filipino pride, Nonito Donaire. Batista posted in his FB page the video saying that he actually faced and accepted the said challenge to him and he is giving the challenge to Donaire now. This is the said post.
