Former action star Raymart Santiago finally breaks his silence and denied the “accusations ” of his estranged wife, Claudine Barretto, who filed a temporary protection order against him on Monday. Raymart answered the accusations filed against him one day after the case was filed.
According to Raymart Santiago he was forced to speak up for the welfare of his children during an interview with ABS-CBN News on Tuesday. He was quoted as saying that, “Matagal akong nanahimik pero dahil sa mga mapanirang akusasyon na ibinabato sa akin, napilitan akong sumagot para na rin sa kapakanan ng mga anak namin,” he said.
Raymart and his wife the 34-year-old Claudine have two children, an adopted daughter, Sabina, 9-years-old and their biological son, Santino who is just 6-years-old. The actor denied the accusations of Claudine that he abused their children, as a father he will not do anything that could hurt his children, Raymart clarified.
Meanwhile, Raymart’s brother, singer-host Randy Santiago, came to the defense earlier with his younger siblings when rumors surfaced that Barretto appeared to have been a victim of domestic violence.
