UPCAT 2013 Results: What to do If Failed to Qualify

The most popular and most prestigious University of the Philippines have provided guidelines if someone failed to qualify for the 2013 UPCAT. The examination results for the UPCAT 2013 are not available yet as of this posting.

The University of the Philippines student applicants are advised to follow the suggestions below if you failed to qualify.

Here’s what to do if you fail to p(–foul word(s) removed–)ed the UPCAT 2013:

First: You can try other UP campuses if:

  • Your rating is within their posted cut-off, and
  • they still have available slots.
  • Just present your Non-Qualifier’s Slip to the Registrar’s Office of the campus you want to enter, but there’s no guarantee of acceptance.

Second: Just enroll to other college or university other than UP if no UP campus can accommodate you. For those who have already earned 33 academic units with a weighted average of 2.00 or better on the UP marking system, you can apply for transfer into a UP campus.
