One of the young mayors in the Philippines is Pasig Mayor Vico Sotto. He is the son of Kapuso actor and Eat Bulaga! host Vic Sotto and actress Coney Reyes.
Mayor Vico Sotto’s age now is 31. He was only 30 years old when he was elected as the mayor of Pasig City ending the 27-year reign of the Eusebios in the city. Prior to it, he has served as a member of the Sangguniang Panlungsod for a single term.
Both parents of Mayor Vico are known personalities in the showbiz industry but he grew up away from the camera. It was only occasional when he would be seen on television and usually for the birthday celebrations of his parents.
Mayor Vico Sotto‘s real name is Victor Ma. Regis Nubla Sotto. He was born on June 17, 1989 and attended Brent International School for his elementary and secondary education. In college, he enrolled at Ateneo de Manila University and took Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
In 2018, Vico finished a post-graduate degree in public administration at Ateneo School of Government Information Board. He has always been vocal that his inclination to public service was greatly influenced by his elder half-brother on his mother’s side.
Despite having different mothers, Vico Sotto and his paternal half-siblings also have a wonderful relationship. Visibly, Vic has a good relationship with each of them and his five children love him a lot. The Pasig City Mayor is the one eyed to have the closest physical appearance with his father among them.
