Despite the prominence of Kapuso actor Sid Lucero for being a multi-awarded star in the acting field, only a few people know that he is actually an Eigenmann.
Sid Lucero is known to many as Sid Lucero, his screen name. Many people do not know that it is not his true name and it is just a character played by his late father, veteran actor Mark Gil, in one of his movies.
Sid Lucero‘s real name is Timothy Mark “Tim/Timmy” Pimentel Eigenmann. He is the son of Mark Gil with Bing Pimentel and the older brother of Maxene Eigenmann. He has half siblings on the paternal side – Gabby Eigenmann and Andi Eigenmann.
Aside from his half-brother and half-sister who are also prominent stars in the industry, Sid Lucero is also connected to Michael de Mesa, his uncle, and Cherie Gil, his aunt. Truly, the Eigenmanns and the Gils are among the celebrity families with several actors and actresses.
In 2004, Sid joined the field where his father is known. Under the GMA-7 network, he was one of the cast members of the drama television series Hanggang Kailan.
