One of the heartthrobs in the Philippine showbiz industry who never seem to age is actor-singer Piolo Pascual. More commonly called as Papa P, it is not obvious that Piolo Pascual’s age is 44 now.
Born on January 12, 1977 in Malate, Manila, Piolo Pascual‘s real name is Piolo Jose Nonato Pascual. He is one of the six children of Philip Victoriano Pascual and Amelia Nonato Pascual. His siblings are Pam, Chiqui, Patricia, Choi, and Paulette. Their father who was a casting director died early.
Piolo Pascual’s age was only 17 when he entered the showbiz industry through That’s Entertainment. After his journey in That’s Entertainment, more and more opportunities came the actor’s way – he was offered movies and soap operas.
Piolo starred in Kahit Isang Saglit, Don’t Give Up On Us, Till There Was You, and Bakit Di Totohanin with his loveteam partner, Judy Ann Santos. He top-billed the movie Milan with actress Claudine Barretto. It is the actor’s top-grossing movie.
With regards to the film wherein Piolo’s portrayal of his character earned a lot of recognitions and awards, it was the movie Dekada ’70. He got eight (8) awards in the Best Supporting Actor category.
Piolo Pascual is also a singer. Throughout his career, he has released at least five (5) albums including Piolo, My Gift, and Timeless. He was under ABS-CBN for decades and it was just recently when he accepted a project offer of TV5 network.
Despite his appearances in the Kapatid network, Piolo has remained supportive of ABS-CBN. He is one of the stars who is really close to a lot of people including the executives.
