Dennis Trillo‘s real name is Abelardo Dennis Florencio Ho. Both his parents, Abelardo Leslie Ho and Florita Florencio Ho, are non-showbiz. His father is a Chinese-Filipino from Dumaguete City, Negros Occidental. Dennis attended his secondary education at Jose Abad Santos Memorial High School.
In college, Dennis enrolled at Miriam College where he took Bachelor of Arts in International Studies. Before becoming an actor, he was a member of a band, the Moyg. He is a drummer and he continues to play drums even until now.
Dennis Trillo is in a relationship with fellow Kapuso star Jennylyn Mercado. He has a son, Calix, from his previous relationship with former actress and Miss Philippines Earth 2001 Carlene Aguilar.
