Some of the graduates of Goin’ Bulilit, a kid show under the ABS-CBN network, managed to remain in the spotlight even after their journey in the show has ended. One of them is young actress Alexa Ilacad.
Alexa Ilacad’s Personal Background
Born on February 26, 2000 in Quezon City, Alexa Ilacad’s real name is Alexandra Madarang Ilacad. She grew up in the Philippines but not much about the young actress’ personal life is known to the public. Both of her parents are non-showbiz.
Alexa Ilacad’s Showbiz Career
Although she is known to a be a graduate of Goin’ Bulilit, it was not where Alexa first appeared on television. In 2004 and 2005, she appeared on TV through the commercial of Vaseline. Also, when she was only eight years old, she was part of Gagambino, a Carlo J. Caparas work that GMA-7 Network released.
With regards to her stint in Goin’ Bulilit, she was actively part of the ABS-CBN program for five years. She also did several other projects such as Maalaala Mo Kaya, Love U, and Maria Mercedez. She also played a role in Star Cinema films For the First Time, The Reunion, and Teen Clash. The young actress was also part of the ABS-CBN drama television series The Good Son.
Alexa Ilacad worked with Nash Aguas, her fellow Goin’ Bulilit graduate, in several projects including The Good Son. Currently, she is part of the upcoming TV series entitled Init Sa Magdamag top-billed by Gerald Anderson, Yam Concepcion, and JM de Guzman.
