In the field of business, there are certain expectations that two companies must fulfill for their respective benefit. An agreement letter is a legal document which indicates the limitations of the terms and conditions agreed upon. A sample letter below is provided.

What must you include in your letter?

  • the parties involved 
  • state essential details such as description, payment period, and others
  • simple and strong languages understood by both parties
  • mention expected duties
  • write every detail down to the tiniest ones
  • each party must sign the document
  • most importantly, you must only state what both parties have agreed and not assume

It has been agreed that we will pay you Php 100.00 per content, a total of Php 3,000.00 per week if the task is completed. As an advance payment, you will be paid Php 5,000.00 upon contract signing. The payment every week will be credited to your bank account.

Please sign both copies of this agreement so we can start working with you as soon as possible and retain one copy for your records. We are expecting you to join us on August 12, 2009, and kindly return the other copy to the above address.
