Newlywed in Bacolod Earns Heart Reacts Over as Just Married Bicycle
An adorable newlywed couple in Bacolod earned heart reactions on social media for using a bicycle as their “just married” vehicle.
The tradition of decorating a car after a wedding ceremony has been around for many years, and it is a popular way to commemorate the occasion and share joy with others. The couple will frequently leave in their decorated car for the reception or their honeymoon destination.
It is also usual in some cultures to adorn the car with objects associated with good fortunes, such as rice, confetti, or rose petals. This custom is thought to bring the newlyweds good fortune and happiness.
What if you don’t have a car? A couple in Bacolod City has captured the attention of the online community after opting for a bicycle as their “recently married” mode of transportation rather than a car. Theresa Jane DC Gutierrez, a Facebook user, provided some gorgeous images of wedded couples.
The two were among the 2,023 couples who exchanged vows on March 11 at the Bacolod City Government Center’s “You and Me sa 2023” mass wedding. Mayor Alfredo Abelardo Benitez officiates the wedding, which is attended by First Lady Liza Araneta Marcos.
The wedded couples’ images have gone popular on social media, eliciting emotions from the online community. Netizens were astounded and offered heartfelt reactions to them.
