Toni Gonzaga 20th Anniversary Concert Seems to Flop Over Alleged Few Tickets Sold
The 20th anniversary concert of multimedia artist Toni Gonzaga allegedly will flop after it was disclosed that the tickets are “mahina and benta”.
Toni Gonzaga, the controversial star, will stage her “I Am Toni” concert to commemorate her 20 years in show business. It will be held on January 20, 2023, the birthday of the TV host-actress-content creator, in the Araneta Coliseum.
Meanwhile, according to a Bandera report, Toni’s concert would flop again, same as her “My Teacher” film during the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF). Bandera spoke with one of the employees at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, who casually said in a coffee shop near the event venue that the tickets for Toni’s show were not selling.
According to the staff, Mommy Pinty Gonzaga stopped by the other day and purchased 500 tickets. I just didn’t ask what the price was because her employees hadn’t yet reported. If this is true, Toni will be disappointed because her concert is only a few days away, and she may not cancel it due to low ticket sales.
Maybe Mommy Pinty is one of the concert organizers for her daughter. Meanwhile, many people were disappointed that Toni and Joey de Leon’s “My Teacher” film failed to make a lot of money.
According to the report, it wasn’t a fluke because there are people who will testify that they actually toured the cinemas and just a few people, including us, saw it. Romel Chika also revealed in “Showbiz Now Na” that he went around the cinemas in the vlog to see who entered and who didn’t.
“Isa po ako sa nadismaya sa nakita ko kasi nag-ikot po ako kasi hindi ako makakapayag na hindi ko makita kung ano ‘yung ibinabalita. Nasaksihan talaga ng dalawang mata ko na sa dinami-dami ng mga nakausap ko (pinagtanungan) ay wala ni isa ang nanood nito (My Teacher),” say ni Romel.
