Justin Cuyugan, Dawn Chang Break Up after 3 Years of Relationship
JUSTIN CUYUGAN – The actor spoke about his split with actress Dawn Chang saying it was a “very traumatic” breakup.
One of the handsome faces in the Philippine showbiz industry is actor Justin Cuyugan. He was one of the talents that Star Magic, formerly known as Star Circle, launched in 1999. He has been a part of several TV programs and movies including the soap opera Pusong Ligaw in 2017 where he played as Emil Verdadero and the fantasy series Bagani in 2018 where he played as Gaki.
A big part of Justin’s life is not a total secret from the public. He dated Carmi who became his wife. Their marriage was blessed with three (3) kids – two sons and a daughter. However, she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and died.
Several years after his wife died, Justin Cuyugan found another love with former Pinoy Big Brother housemate and actress Dawn Chang. She became close to his children, too, and they travelled together.
However, in 2021, breakup rumors crossed the surface amid the cryptic social media posts of Justin Cuyugan and Dawn Chang. Recently, the actor confirmed their split and said that it was a “very traumatic” breakup.
Based on an article on Pep, he did not expect his breakup with Dawn. According to him, when it comes to getting into a relationship, he always thinks that he will marry the person he is in a relationship with. He stressed that he got angry because his children were also deeply affected and heartbroken by what happened.
According to the actor, he was fine but he’s thinking about the welfare of his kids and their happiness. He expressed that he can stay single but his children sometimes look for a mother figure.
“If it’s just me, no problem, e. Kaya lang may kasamang mga bata, e. Kasama ko silang naghahanap ng bahay, kasama ko silang nasa kalye,” he said.
Based on the article, Justin Cuyugan clarified that it was his choice to be the one to leave their home they’re renting following his breakup with Dawn Chang.
Meanwhile, the actor that he has moved on from what happened. He has also forgiven Dawn on whatever rought patches they went through in their relationship. According to him, life is great and better now for him and his kids.
