PAGASA Says ITCZ to Bring Cloudy to Rainy Conditions Over Parts of PH
The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the Intertropical Convergence Zone will bring cloudy to rainy conditions over some parts of the country.
On Thursday (November 10, 2022), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The Intertropical Convergence Zone will affect the country’s weather condition.
PAGASA reported that the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will be affecting Mindanao.
The ITCZ will bring cloudy weather condition with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Albay, Batanes, Sorsogon, Masbate and Northern Samar, Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Islands.
Partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated rainshowers or thundestorms are expected over Oriental Mindoro, Romblon, Marinduque and rest of Bicol Region.
The localized thunderstorms will bring similar weather condition over Occidental Mindoro, Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.
The weather agency has warned the public for possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate with at times heavy rains and severe thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over Luzon and Visayas will be moderate. Mindanao will have slight to moderate surrounding sea conditions, according to the weather bureau.
