Boyfriend of Rita Gaviola Clarifies Claims that they are Relying on Parents
The boyfriend of Rita Gaviola clarified the claims of bashers that they are still relying on their parents despite being parents of one.
Rita Gaviola, a.k.a. “Badjao Girl,” and her boyfriend responded to some of their internet detractors in their newest YouTube video. One critic said that Rita and her partner are simply depending on their parents to support their child.
This charge was refuted by Rita and her boyfriend, who both asserted that they have reliable sources of income. The boyfriend claims that even though they already make money, their parents occasionally give them unpaid assistance.
He made it clear that Rita and he don’t ask their parents for presents or cash. He stressed that in times of struggle and need, their parents are always there for them.
“May mga sarili na rin kaming pang hanapbuhay na stable at pangtustos sa aming baby at mga pangangailangan,” he said.
“Ang mga magulang, andyan yan. Kahit hindi kami humingi, tumutulong sila, nasa likod lang sila. “Pero hindi kami nanghihingi,” Rita’s boyfriend clarified in their vlog.
Recently, Rita’s announcement that she is a mother grabbed news. She posted pictures of herself hugging her child on social media. However, some trolls sent uninvited remarks on her posts, prompting Rita to respond.
Rita also addressed her response to the criticism she received when she announced that she is now a parent, saying in one of her comments that she is proud of herself for not turning to an abortion “simply for career.”
