Piolo Pascual lauded his leading lady
Actor Piolo Pascual revealed something about the action scenes that his Flower Of Evil leading lady Lovi Poe did.
This series which was adapted from a K-drama series is Lovi’s first project as a Kapamilya. For her project in ABS-CBN, she is paired with Piolo. Also included in the series is Paulo Avelino.
Lovi’s role as police detective Iris Castillo required her to do action scenes. The viewers lauded her performance in the series and she is even being tagged now as the Action Queen. In a previous interview, the daughter of The King Fernando Poe, Jr. said that she is overwhelmed by the positive feedback that she received.
Lovi Poe also said that she is honored that people appreciate her hard work for the series. In a recent interview, based on the article in Bandera, her leading man Piolo Pascual also expressed admiration for her determination to give justice to her role.
The actor said that it was easy working with Lovi because they were on the same page and they supported each other in order for them to portray their roles effectively. Piolo also revealed that his leading lady gave her 100 percent in action scenes.
“And watching her do different scenes, especially yung mga action scenes niya, it was a delight to watch kasi wala siyang pakialam kahit maaksidente, binato ni Joko Diaz, tumama yung likod niya,” he said.
Piolo Pascual also shared that Lovi Poe was always game to do anything to make the scene the best that it could be. “Sobra sobrang nakaka-appreciate pag napanood mo,” the actor added.
The cast of the series also included JC de Vera, Edu Manzano, Joross Gamboa, Agot Isidro, Joem Bascon, Denise Laurel, Epy Quizon, Rita Avila, Jett Pangan, Pinky Amador, and Joko Diaz. The final episodes of Flower of Evil will stream on October 8 and 9 via Viu, as well as on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, and A2Z.
