Lady Rider Dies After She Hits Pedestrian in Matnog, Sorsogon
A lady rider has passed away after she accidentally hits a pedestrian along the road in Matnog, Sorsogon.
Nowadays, road accident has been one of the most common traffic problems not only in the Philippines but also in different countries all around the world. It usually causes injuries and even death to the victims.
The Philippine government is already implementing stricter rules and regulations to prevent such incidents. Unfortunately, there are still a lot of hard-headed and reckless motorists violating the traffic policy.
However, vehicle drivers and motorcycle riders should take precautionary measures along the road to avoid accidents.
A 37-year-old motorcycle rider identified as Mary Ann Marvilla in Matnog, Sorsogon accidentally hits a truck passenger along the road. She is currently heading to work when the incident happened.
The collision sent Marvilla pummeling to the ground and suffered serious injuries in different parts of her body. The lady motorist has been rushed to the hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
The male pedestrian suffered wounds and injuries due to the incident. The latter is currently recuperating at the hospital and has settled the issue with Marvilla’s family. The rider’s family will not file any charges against the truck passenger.
