21 Teenagers Die in South Africa, Bar Responsible for their Death?
21 TEENAGERS DIE – Twenty-one (21) teens died in Cape Town in South Africa and a bar is accused of being responsible for their deaths.
Undeniably, there are areas across the globe that are really known because of the people’s drinking culture. One of these is South Africa. There are several bars and drinking venues in the country most especially in Cape Town, one of its three capital cities.
However, recently, an owner of one of the bars in Cape town in the coastal town of East London was arrested. His bar is accused to bear the responsibility for the death of 21 teenagers.
Based on a report on GMA News, 21 teenagers died but the cause of their death remains mysterious as to the police in the Eastern Cape province. According to a source close to the probe, one of the angles considered is a chemical or gas leak. The authorities also look into the possibility of accidental poisoning.
Based on the report, the owner of the bar in Cape Town, South Africa which is accused to be responsible for the death of 21 teenagers has been arrested. The 52-year-old bar owner is expected to appear before the Court on August 19. Two (2) of the bar employees were also nabbed.
The families of some of the teens who died are angry over the alleged weeks of unheard calls to shut down the bar. There is a heavy outpour of grief in Scenery Park as families grieved over the sudden loss of their loved ones.
As of this writing, the investigation is ongoing and the case filed against the bar owner will be under court proceedings. More updates may be posted soon.
