Kapamilya actress Ellen Adarna clarified her ties with Sen. Bong Revilla, who is currently in jail facing graft and plunder charges. The actress noted that there is no truth to speculation that the jailed politician courted her. Ellen Adarna made the revelation during the announcement of the extension of “Moon of Desire,” Adarna’s current drama series with ABS-CBN.
The 26-year-old Ellen Adarna denied the issue that Senator Bong Revilla courted here, after a controversial interview with DJ Mo Twister went viral. According to Ellen Adarna DJ Mo Twister asked her whether there were instance when politician tried to contact her through text message, therefore she admitted the a Senator of the Philippines once contacted her.
During Ellen Adarna’s interview with DJ Mo Twister, she brought up the name of Senator Bong Revilla, in order to clarify the issue of getting the Senator involved with her conversation. Ellen Adarna explains “Let me make that clear,” she stated,” “Wala, hindi siya nanligaw! Walang ligaw na naganap. Mo asked me if may mga politicians na nag-te-text o nag-mu-moves. Nag-text lang! Once! ‘Yun lang ‘yon. But nothing, ‘Can we meet up somewhere?’ Walang gano’n.” Ellen Adarna clarified.
The “Moon of Desire” actress recalled that her involvement with Senator Bong Revilla started when she portrayed an “engkantada” role in the 2010 fantasy-action film, “Si Agimat at si Enteng Kabisote,” the movie featuring the team-up of Sen. Bong Revilla and comedian Vic Sotto.
When Ellen Adarna was asked whether she knew the motive of Sen. Bong Revilla on her, she responded that she don’t know and don’t want to say anything, but she noted that her involvement was just a friendly text and nothing weird.
